Below are some downloads that contain information about the Lockerbie Data Centres proposal. Most of these files should open without any problems. PDF files require adobe reader which is available from here.
The following documents were submitted as part of the package of supporting information on 24 April 2009.
- A Masterplan Document – sets out the design strategy behind the Concept masterplan and provides more detail on each of the proposed land uses; download pdf (33.4MB)
- An Environmental Statement (including a non-technical summary) – reports the results of the Environmental Impact Assessment process; download pdf (7.58MB)
- A Sustainability Statement – describes the approach that the team has taken to sustainability during the design process and the extent to which the development accords with the principle and aspiration of sustainable development; download pdf (1.33MB)
- A Transport Assessment- describes the proposed development and assesses the trip generation before it examines the effect of the proposed development on the surrounding transportation network.
- A Pre-Application Consultation Report – sets out the method and findings of the consultation exercise and, illustrates the ways in which community engagement has helped to shape the Concept Masterplan.
Due to the size of some of these documents the full package is not available on this website. They are, however, all available for viewing at Dumfries and Galloway Council Offices at Dryfe Road, Lockerbie, DG11 2AS and at Lockerbie Library, 31-33 High Street, Lockerbie, DG11 2JL for a period of 28 days from the 24 April 2009.
