Planning permission granted by Lockerbie Data Centre at 02/12/2009 16:35:00


Dumfries & Galloway Council has granted the scheme planning in principle, meaning that work to construct one of the largest data centres in the world will likely begin onsite next year.

    Are there plans to accomodate increased traffic flow especially at the rush hour? An expansion of education at the Crichton in Dumfries has resulted in extreme delays for hospital workers, because of increased traffic on the only road available, which has only one lane. The Lockerbie situation looks likely to be very similar unless there is planning for increased traffic flow.
